LOUGAWOU
You came to steal. Something woke up.
Explore a mansion inspired by Haiti, survive an unkillable presence and find a way out before dawn.
The house seemed empty.
You break into a large property at night to steal five valuables. The courtyard is silent, the rooms are dark, everything feels easy.
After the fifth theft, the light changes. The sounds begin. The house no longer wants to let you leave.
In the dark, a small voice comes to your aid: TiBoukan knows the rules of the house, and what must be gathered to hope to get out.

Four nights in one.

LOUGAWOU is played with your ears as much as your eyes. Every sound in the house is a clue, or a warning.
The footsteps
Heavy, slow, closer and closer. They tell you where he is.
The breathing
If you can hear it, he is already too close.
The whisper
TiBoukan speaks softly. What she says can save you.
The laugh
No one knows where it comes from. No one wants to.
The door
A creaking door is a door someone opened.
The silence
The worst sign in the whole house.
The objects of the house.
Five objects tied to the ritual that might let you out.
The calabash
A ritual vessel found inside the house. Its surface carries traces of ancient use.
The black candle
A candle marked with mysterious signs. It does not light like the others.
The tèt mò
A skull placed where no one would place anything. It seems to watch the room.
The gangan's djakout
A gangan's woven satchel. What it holds does not belong to you.
TiBoukan
A framed vèvè, hanging crooked. It is how the small voice speaks to you.
Drag an object to inspect it from every angle.
Enter the house.
